MyBanshee99, I can find some hills around here where a quad does not dare climb but the dirt bikes can. The top of the hill goes vertical for about 5 or 6 feet and the bikes fly right up it. The quad's tires are to small and if you try it the quad will bounce off the face of the cliff and you will die or get really hurt. The reason the bikes can do it is the big tires, they absorb alot more of the impact and roll up the face. Plus they only need a very small line of attack on the hill, we need 2. I watch them in awe sometimes, once I get my camcorder I post some videos of them crazy bastards, hehe.

hey rmx251, i would like to see you get a truck back by where i hunt, there are no roads for miles, you wouldnt wanna walk out to your stand 3 miles in all ur hunting clothes and gun, and gear, and you wouldnt wanna drag a deer 3 miles to your truck w/ all your gear. people who drive atv's are not lazy, they just like riding, and they like ATV's because you can go many places and do many things that just make life easier.

I should ignore this post, but...........
I believe, if you were to take a poll, that many of us old guys ARE former dirt bikers. My case is common, I am sure. I raced for 10 yrs. off-road(Enduro), have ridden woods bikes for 25 yrs. I've WORN more dirt than you will ride OVER in a season. Both my knees are blown out from many, many crashes. The quad keeps this old relic out in the woods. Got a problem with that? Wanna race................?
