my shifter and my brake lever on my 400ex had some of the black paint rubbed off of them, to I took some wire bits, put them in my drill, and ground all of the paint off of them both. I used a bunch of different sized wire bits, and got them both really shiny. My dad says that they may get all tarnished from different chemicals in the air. Is this something to worry about, or will washing them every now and then keep them shining?
