HEY!!! I was thinking of getting a CB radio and putting it on my ATV. But I was wondering about water ect. messing it up. If you would please tell me how you put yours on you ATV. Also I was thinking of putting some extra accessories that run off my ATV battery (honda300). My uncle had a guy some how hook a car battery or some sort of battery to his ATV to power his accessories. (along with his ATV battery) If any one could tell me how to do that or any other idea about powering accessories please let me know!
Thanks!

i made a box for the front rack and had a cb inside of it i also had a am-fm stereo.as far as the power it will run off the battery i had a 95 honda 300 4x4 and i mounted a 250 amp garden tractor battery in the trunk, you just wire it negative to negative, and positive to positive and it will charge both batterys(had mine like that for 3 years)and i could leave the stereo on for 2 days and still start it.

I just mounted mine on the front rack on the left side of the bike. It's a Uniden 40 channel,it's mounted with the speaker face down . I just hose it off with the rest of the bike and no problems yet. Several guys in my club are mountedthe same and haven't had problems either.

Yes, I new the battery could support the CB, but what I was thinking was to put a spreader, spot sprayer, winch, and extra lights (maybe). I have seen the CB at radio shack that is water proof, but its about $200.00 (I think) and I wasn't planning on spending that much to put it on my atv. But I thank you and anyone else who gives there info on the subject. A friend told me about the battery, to just put a battery in the storage box and run battery cables from my atv battery to it. Then run all the accessories to the other battery (not atv one) and it should work. Well...if anyone has input on that they are welcome to it.
Thanks
John
