depends on money and purpose.
scanner = $90
ok digital camera = 400
cd = 2x development usually
you might already have a good camera, so maybe a scanner or cd is the way to go.
or, if you need a camera anyways, maybe the digital camera's the trail 4 u...
but, if you NEED RESOLUTION, and good quality,,, and money's no problem, get a good camera and a negative scanner, with the affordable vs. quality you can't beat the quality of a negative scanner, though they're rather expensive (like i'd never buy one), but i have a friend that does that as a hobby, and he's got one, not sure what he paid for his though.
