I'm thinking about getting a helmet camera from www.helmetcamera.com, and I was wondering if any of you guys have tried it, or any other brand? I think it would be pretty cool to film yourself while riding

I have seen a camcorder mount for helmets in one of the magazines, but it put the camera on one side. I had duct taped my Cannon to the top of my helmet once which worked good, I think it would be a heavy thing to have on the side helmet. The footage looked awesome.

If you are good with electronics and like to "tinker" with stuff, you can make your own helmet cam. Here is a good place to get cheap (price! lol) cameras. And NO, its not Polaris 4 wheelers! LOL http://www.polarisusa.com/ They also have a free catalog that thery will send ya.

I've wanted to do this too. I want to be able to hook a mini-cam up to my camcorder (the camcorder would be the receiver).

Has anyone tried this? If so, what would I need in order to accomplish the task?
