How about those "Dirt Squirts". Hodaka had some real weird model names! Cool little dirt bike, for their day. They were distributed by Pabatco, in Washington state, I think.

Isn't Fuuji Heavy Industries a division of Kawasaki?

actually, FUJI heavy industires is SUBARU, plus several other names.
Kawasaki heavy makes things like helicopters and subamrines, K 'lite' makes everything else, including quads.
those Fuji 100 engines that were once known as Yamaguchi were put in a whole range of bikes, including the Indians that were built in the 70's.. i worked there.. boy do i have some stories...hehe
WHat a great design for an engine.. i'm surprised they still dont use them.

FUJI heavy industry engines are used in Polaris and also the Wisconsin Robin industrial engines used in lawn equipment.

Speaking of bikes from the 70s, I still have a 72 Husquvarna 250 WR. It also has an orange and chrome tank.

tricat-- I used to compete on a Husky OR390. I rode Enduro. Great bikes, I won a ton of trophies with the 2 that I owned!

tricat, where are you in SD? i was born in sioux falls and raised in the arlington area...

is yer old Husky one of those we used to call the 'nut buster' cuz of the tank mounting stud sticking up between the seat and tank? I never could bring myself to ride one of those... it looked too painful!
