well, i ain't from michigan, but what i did here in Texas is this: i found out what motor my go kart had, which is a GY6, and talked to atv shops about working on the GY6 motor. i did not mention it was on a gokart, because they may not be familiar with a Roketa, but do have experience with the GY6. most of the time, they told me "chinese GY6?" and of course the reply is yes, and they said it's not a problem. our local dealer is way too expensive and takes WAY too long but makes sure he's got his 4 hour minimum after 2 days. so these other mechanics who started their own shop are apt to work on any make/brand/year/whatever of atv. anyway, hope this helps.
