Default Cub Cadet Challenger 750

Woo hoo!! Got the call this morning that it was not only in, but it was ready for delivery. They brought it to the house this afternoon. I took some pics before it got dark and then took it for a ride up our dirt road - about 1/2 mile total - and down around our lake before I put it in the garage until tomorrow. First reaction is - I love it. I am really going to love plowing with the power adjustable blade...and the heater. I added upper doors, rear window, heater, windshield wiper, a roof light bar and the plow to the basic package. Very impressive..at least based on the 45 minutes I spent with it.

And the pics...because it really did happen.

Looks like a nice machine! To bad it wasn't a diesel, but that's just my quirk. Heater? You lucky dog!

Too funny!!! The upper doors and rear window cab be easily removed for the warmer weather. I was thinking about putting in a fold-down windshield but decided that I'd benefit more from having the wiper in the snow/sleet.

Is the snow plow factory by Cub Cadet or is it aftermarket? Does it have hydraulics? What brand it is? How did the challenger and that plow do in the snow? Did you use it on sidewalks, can you angle it? Also where did you get the windshield wiper?

Thanks!

The plow is a Denali - sold/installed by the dealer. It is lifted by the winch but does have a power angle capability using a switch in the cab - no need to get out. I don't use it on sidewalks - use it to plow our driveway (about 750 ft), my mother-in-law's driveway (100 ft) and clear the road (dirt/gravel) around the end of the driveways and mailboxes. The wiper was also sold/installed by the dealer.

I took the plow off for summer use around our property. Easy removal with two lock pins, unhook the winch and unplug the power angle hydraulics.

Overall, I am thrilled with it. I've since added the rear bumper - ordered directly from Cub Cadet and easily installed myself. Hoping the come out with a front brush guard soon. In retrospect, I would not have gotten the cab heater - found a golf cart portable heater the runs off a 1lb propane bottle that sits in the cup holder that works better.
