Default Supertrapp exhaust Problem

I had just put in The K&N Power kit and took her for a rip Wow what a difference. Now I will need new tires just to keep the power to the ground at launch. Anyways I was running 12 disks in the exhaust and finding it rather loud for the congested areas I was riding and wanted to try dropping it down to 8 disks to see what difference in noise and power I would see.
Thats when everything went to crap I broke one of the 3 screws used to hold the restictor plates in . When I tried to grab with pliers to turn out the broken piece it is like a nut on the back side came loose because now all it does is wobble and spin.

I thought you took these things apart to repack so I figured I would pull apart and figure out how to fix. I can not pull out the core. I tried everything, putting the two good screws back in and pulling on them to no avail. I then removed the inlet pipe and tried to beat it out with a nylon bar and a hammer but no luck. Short of mangling pipe I could only get it to move 1/16th or less.

Do they come apart and if so HOW!!!! Any tips would be appreciated. I would hate to have to buy new exhaust for a broken screw!

I cant get my scanner working but there is a retaining pin down by the clamp. And there is a buttonhead screw holding the core in at the other end.

Thanks, I did get it apart, just needed bigger hammer. The retaining pin did screw me up. I hope I never need to do that again.

Greeting fellow mud things
A bigger hammer is the right tool in a lot of cases.
