i want to goto a alcohol setup, what all have you guys done to make it happen, where did you get your carb at ? ive heard things about going into the motor, maybe changing the stator or coil? what all do i need?

What motor are you running and what type of porting if any is done to it

 

motor is stock jug that has been bored out, the porting was matched off that of a PT jug, awesome port job in my opionin, and the head i am running was the head that came with the PT jug so its alittle diffrent

 

Id run a 40.5 pwk meth carb (sanders has a good meth carb). Take your compression to 195-205. Methanol is harder to light to its a good idea to run a CR ignition as well. You can get those kits from esr as well. Another other questions just ask

 

actually, my compersion is already in that range, when i tested it after my last rebuild i believe i was at 200, or just a touch underdo you have AIM, if so msg me DKrider81, thanks
