I was wondering if there are any modifacations i can make to my LT230S for XC racing. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

 

go with some two inch offset front wheels, or some wheels spacers, maybe a webcam and a wiseko piston , an FST oil cooler, a barnett clutch, fox shox, thats about it.

 

Bigger Carb! You think it is fast - put a bigger carb on. My 230 Really woke up with the factory 34mm carb for the TRX250R.

 

Dan250race, what type of carb boot and intake book did you end up using to get the 34mm to fit onto the cylender and into the air box?

 

Like you, I've already have been in your position [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] but when I thought about it, I thought that they are enought peppy while stock and they don't really worth to put money it them. Just more practical to buy another one. Unless you can do unexpensive mods like putting a 250R carb like Dan250Race said. You could always buy a cam, bigger valves , head work in others words. But It's just more practical to ride it stock. On top of that, I don't think it's the best XC quad.Now my 300ex would kill my old 230, but I won't probably even put a penny on it excepting for buying new maier fenders.
