What is a good hi performance cam? I am getting a high compression piston for a 300ex and want to get a cam also. What is a good brand of cam to buy? I am going to be racing harscambles so i want it set up for that.

 

Get a billet cam, in other words one that's not welded and reground. That way you won't have to also replace your rocker arms. Hotcams or Webcams, one or both of those is made that way. Email the cam maker, and tell them your details (compression, porting or not, your weight, type of riding) and they'll hook you up with the right profile for you. A cam unmatched to your engine will be worse than stock; the right one will really turn it on.
