leaky cr250
#1
I know this isint an atv but a friend of mine has like a 91/92 cr250, it leaks antifreeze like either around the base of the jug or somewhere around there, its only after it warms up and its a very small leak. in fact has been riding it like that for a little while and hasent even noticed the water going down. any idea where it could be coming from? or anything?

It's a blown gasket, or loose stud. Don't ride it anymore -- what leaks out, also sucks in (meaning it's got an air leak).
Try re-torquing the cylinder studs to the mfr specifications. If this doesn't stop the leak, it's time to tear it down and replace the gasket.
If the studs don't stay torqued, it means a stripped hole -- it'll need to be torn down and helicoiled.
