Default Supertrapp IDS2 Question

I bought a used 02 Kodiak this spring. It has a Supertrapp IDS2 pipe on it. The seller also gave me the stock muffler.

Last night I tried to take out a couple of discs because I want the ATV to be quieter. What I'd like is to make it as quiet as stock while keeping the Supertrapp (cause it looks cool and it would save me the work of replacing it.)

My question is, what size hex key do you need to remove the discs? None of my SAE sized ones would work, with the metrics 3mm was too small and 4mm was too big. None of my "inch" hex keys have the sizes stamped on them, so I may be missing the size I need, but not likeley. IDS2 owners, what size do I need, or is it a special size unique to Supertrapp?

Also, anyone know what is the minimum number of discs I can run? I don't know what's in there now, and I don't have a manual or anything.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dave

Not sure the size of wrench it takes but I run 6 plates in mine and it is still loud. The only thing that will quietin it down is to get a Quite Core for the pipe.
