Recently, i have been getting a little power hungry. I think i could get a ktm 520 for cheap money and i am wondering if that beast would fit into the 400ex fram without having to cut/ reweld the frame. I know i will have to fab some custom parts but thats not a big deal for me.
So what do you guys think? could i wedge that thing in my frame?

 

guys used to run the XR500 motors in three wheelers, try that. my dad have a stroked XR540 running in his and pissed off plenty of 250R owners. with his speedo he has hit over 100mph on pavement and getting to 80 on the dirt/sand wasnt a problem. handled like a tractor because of the technology back then but none the less hauled azz.

 

that would be bbbbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddddddd my friend rides a 520sx it FLIES mod it get a lil better gearing andi it would be a BEAST!
