I've heard over and over that 400ex shocks will fit on my 250 R. I just bought a 400ex rear shock and it is not an exact fit like was hoping it would be. My 250r shock arm doesn't fit into the bottom of the 400ex shock and the top of the 400ex shock is a little skinnier than my frame mount. If anyone else has done this swap let me know what I need to make this work. Also, will the front shocks swap out too?

 

The front shocks are the only ones that will bolt from one to the other. The rear linkage is difrent on a 400ex.
