thanks for the tips

which exhaust do you recomend? as the Yoshimura is the most expensive, is it worth it? and do you konw if you have to change the getting for each different type of exhaust our is it alway the same size jetting no matter what exhaust you fit?

as for the front sprocket, what size is standard?

i would recommend a yoshi, they add great power! but they are load, our friend has one on his 690 raptor and it tested a 105dB. if you don't want to spend as much go with the big gun or WB's
Now the stock spocket is a 15T if you drop it to a 14T you get an extra gear for lonching, like i could only lonch in 1st with the stock sprocket, now i can lonch in 2nd!! it really depends on riding you do. if you do change it, it drops your top speed from 62 mph to 54mph, its somthing like that. oh ya, you do have to re-jet it each pipe. if you don't re-jet your bike will be slower then with the stock pipe!
hope that helps!!

don't mess with ur gearing. find out what type of riding you will be doing most and go from there. a pipe and jetting is definately the best first mod. the next thing i would do, is get new tires if you r gonna ride a lot in sand, or snow, or race. when u go down a front sprocket size u will go a lot faster, but you will lose some acceleration and maybe power. good luck!

cro, you got the sprocket thing backwards, a smaller front sprocket will increasae your acceleration while slowing top speed. On the rear, its the opposit, the bigger you go, the more acceleration and less top speed.

if it was me it would be tires on the front and rear would come first!:cool then the pipe! The WB R4 pipe seems to help it quite abit oh yea! don't waste you're money buying a jet kit! just buy 2 jets under stock and 2 over stock! just my 2cents
