Yes to the chain and brakelines. Anytime you widen or lengthen the quad, stock lines or chains will be stretched too tight to work properly. As far as the components for the swingarm, many manufacturers design the swingarms to accomidate the stock parts. But if your going to go with a stronger swingarm...it only makes sense to get stronger components that can handle more abuse...

Same thing with the skid plate....some swingarms are designed to have the same bolt pattern for the skids...or if not...they should offer a skid that matches the new swingarm...

Prices for brakelines and chains....lets see.....I'm looking at the latest Chaparral catalog and rear brake lines are around 43 bucks. Chains.....in the range of 50-100 bucks, depending on length.

50 bucks for a chain!?! why so much? a bicycle chain (which is longer) cost like 10!

i'm looking to put extended A arms and new shocks on my 400ex... i found a kit from alba that includes their pro comp +2 A arms, works steelers and longer braided brake lines for $973... i found other A arms for 460 and up plus about 400 for the shocks and 100 for the lines... also do the stock hubs work???... does anyone have the procomp kit or know anything that might help me out here?
lastly do you need to buy durablue hubs when you put on a durablue 2+2 Eliminator axle or do the stock ones work??
thanks!

If you think $50.00 is a lot for a chain you should check out the prices from sidewinder. Oh and by the way yes they are worth the money. If you want good stuff that will last check them out.
