Front hub stud removal

Does anyone know of a easy way to get them out?????

bigger hammer......or warm the area on the casting with a torch around the stud being carefull not to heat the stud. Make sure you screw a nut on the end of the stud befoe you hammer them out.

Default Front hub stud removal

If you have the hub off and a vice then it's pretty easy. Just find a socket that's a little bit bigger then the back of the stud, put the socket over the stud and the nut on the front of the stud (so that you don't mess up the threads. Put it in the vice and start turning. You'll back out the stud and it'll push into the socket. I pulled all 8 of mine out within 5 minutes using that method.
