BEST MODS FOR V-FORCE
#11
I plan on doing a clutch kit.
I want to know what other mods I can do and still
be able to ride in pretty much any situation.
(dirt drags, ice racing, dunes,... you know)
I just want to be able to hold my own with my
buddies on thier raptors, banshees and such.

Slim, Try the Pink primary spring from EPI. It's not as rowdy as some of the others on the top end, but it is very rideable. I held my own aginst other V's,banshees,400's this last weekend, I have tried a few different springs, some with higher engagement would be o.k. for draggin' but IMO the inital engagement is too high for track/woods riding. Also, Vforcer is right, the Elka's are a worthy investment. The primary springs are cheap, start there and enjoy.

it's good to get some usefull info, my buddies still don't care for the V much.
mostly with it being an auto , but I catch alot crap about it being the size of
a tank

Slim ...... don't spend time and energy defending your choice of quads to your buddies. It is not their money .... it is yours ....
ride what you like ..... and consider this ... they might be just a tad green with envy.

Open up the air intake by replacing the intake snorkel with 2 snorkels. Look at NYROC's page to see what I am talking about under vsnorkel. I did mine a bit different as I replaced the stock as well as added a secondary snorkel using the Centeral Vac flex hose as sold by Home Depot. Get a K&N as the stock foam unit will not flow as much air

Ordered the K&N filters( should be here in the morning). I don't plan on doing much trail riding, but we do drag race, TT style racing,
a little moto and plan on some hardcore ice racing this winter. Think I want a little more than the pink spring, but not sure if I need
the pro clutch kit.
Would like to know more, maybe the bright green spring?

I purchased red and pink, only put red in first...Due to the replies I have read in here...I dont think I will need to put pink in I love red..It does engage high put if you can ride a quad with confidence then you should have no prblem getting use to it...skip the pink and go for red makes a huge difference donuts are a breeze and trail ridding is not a problem...IMO its a whole diff quad with this spring for 20 bucks money well spent....Dont know to much about bright green spring let me know how it is.....But in mean time pink spring for sale new in bag IM me if ya want it 15$ plus shippin...
