I have an '04 V-Force and would like to go faster and have a better handling ride.
I installed a DMC Alien dual exhaust and jets. I am very happy with this exhaust,
but still can't pull away from my buddy's cannondale speed.

did you put a clutch kit in?if you dont put one in,you wont be getting all the hp from the pipe to the wheels..

 

I'm thinking about the EPI clutch kit
Want a good "all around" set up on this quad,
but I still want to stomp my buddies on their quads[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

If you want more speed ,,,,, take a look at Dalton's overdrive clutch plate and springs

 

What mods did you do to the airbox?
And how do you like the Elkas?

 

I installed two TPI slide valves on the top of the box.......
Love the elkas .... would do it again in a heart beat....

 

I'm thinking of going with Elkas front & rear
I notice that alot of different airbox mods are being done
what do you know about the "ram air" snorkel set up?

I don't think I need anything that radical, but
I would like to do some mods that would make mine
have more power when I need it.
We do lots of different types of racing ( ice, drag, motto),
but I still want to trail ride and putt around with my son on his 80.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

If you haven't put a stiffer primary spring in yet, then you are not getting nearly the performance from the duals that is available.
