i'd buy a better quad (nothin against the quad) before you start investing on performance stuff like that!

Never seen nitrous on a 300EX however I seen a guy with it on a 400ex and it was FAST. However if I where you I would just do some internal motor mods first like a cam, port & poilish and such. All that work would cost you about the same as nitrous and you will have the power all the time with no nitrous bottle in the way and no wiring and such.

Do you mean N20 or just NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems, I believe made by Holley)? Just thought I'd make sure everyone knows there is a difference and that NOS, NAHWS, NAWWWS or any other derivitive of the slang term from that crap movie are not short for Nitrous Oxide they're just slang for the brand name (wish I had an entire movie as an ad campaign for my products).

As to bottle feeding a 300ex. Well Boondocker makes a system for quads. I don't know it it's a generic kit or customized to fit specific quads but I'm sure it can be rigged to fit most. General rule of thumb for N2O jetting is that you don't really want to spray over half of stock horsepower (on an engine with stock internals). I would have to guess that a 300ex makes about 16hp stock??? So you're looking at a pretty small jet. You'll also have to play with your carb jetting alot.

Disclaimer: If you turn your piston into an ashtray, don't blame me.

Good luck,
-Marc

Oh and would you have any idea what jet size that would be? Also do you think that pre or post intruduction would be better, thanks again.

NOS jetting for a 9 bhp shot is 16n/20f. Its usually better to put in in after the carb.
