Default building either 416 or 426 ex to race and trail ride?

well i was goign to build a 440 kit but that does cost alot more then just a 416 or a 426. i plan on MX racing next summer and i do alot of trail rideing also is there that much of a power difference between a 416 or a 426? i was planing on putting a stage either 1 o2 hot cam in them and that was about it and i think 11:1 compression. and i hope i could run pumped gas in it but if i can't i can't. also i would really like to beat my friends 440ex its has 11:1 compression with a web cam. if you got some ideas for me to be able to do that with a smaller CC motor i would love to hear them. looking for the thing to be reliable to. i am leaning more towards the 426 but i will not over look the 416.

hey ranger, there is very little differance between a 416cc and 435cc EX about 1.5rwhp. We only go to 435 if we have to replace the sleeve anyway. We use the Hotcam stg2, 11:1 wiseco, 0 deck and plane head to end up at 11.5-12:1
With a whitebros exhaust, and Biggun CDI we make 42-43 rwhp (porting and valve job need to be very well done to make these numbers)
I've seen these same parts put together by dealers and other engine builders only make 30rwhp on our dyno.
