First off rejet your carb, or go to trengaracing.com/ and order their 28mm d-side carb. Then for a new piston, I would buy a prolite piston(around $100) from trinityracing.com/ or their superlite(like $125) would be cool too.

well for a piston id go with a Vitos superstock about $140 lil expensive but worth it... and id get a 30mm Flatside carb from Trenga Racing... and then rejet it.... also for the biggest gain get ur cylinder ported and polished when u get the new piston...

Say man I happen to own a 03 blaster with a toomey pipe. and just blew my pistion also. I have been doin alot of lookin around. If you go with a vito's psuperstock pistion you cant get it bored.\, because the pistion has a beveled edge and changes the port timing. I personally will prob. just go ahead and get mine ported. I talked with the Toomey Tech(James) and hed he said their race team always, always ports their motor.

You can use the superstock piston in a ported engine. You just need to make sure you have the port timing set-up correctly for that piston. If you were to use that piston in a engine ported for the stock specs it would throw the timing off and run like crap.
