I am going to put an EGT guage on my alcohol bike. What I was wondering was what range of exhaust temp I should look for ? I know that on a gas burner that things will melt above 1300 degrees but I don't think that the cooler burning alcohol will ever reach that temp. Does anyone what optimum temp would be ?
