400ex plastic on a 250r

would like some information on installing 400ex plastic on a 250r. I tried calling performance racing products and the number was disconnected. also will I be able to use an aftermarket gas tank with this conversion? thanks in advance on any info sent.

I am going to do this conversion too! I love the new yellow 400ex plastic. As close as the two chassis are in design, I would think that it should be a fairly easy thing to do. Just maybe a couple new mounting brackets.

If you find out anything, let us know

Everything should fit. You'll need to make some supports for the side panels, drill new holes in the rear plastic for a 250r seat or use a 400ex seat and modify it. You'll need to cut off the front tabs on the 400ex seat on bolt a 250r braket on or flip the tabs around on the frame.
