got a 87 250r for my girlfriend and it has a fmf fatty on it.I'm not a fan of fmf and think it robs power if anything.her bike has mid range porting a cool head with a 18cc dome, pirmid reeds, and a bored stock carb whats a good afordable pipe

if you do a google search for "250r pipe shootout" you'll find the shootout - it has the dyno's from all the major brands for the 250r

I run an ESR TRX5 pipe on mine....you can get the center mount of standard pipe...it's an insane puller and gives power everywhere...I'd def. check out that one too

 

How much?

 

ESR TRX5 w/ Silencer will be around $320 for the chromed one, Im not sure about the curtis sparks though
