My dad and I are thinking about bulding a drag qaud.We are going to take a midsize chain drive sport qaud chasis like a LT250r.We found one with a extended swingarm and new durablkue axle but the motor was blown up for $600 but the guy won't get rid of it even though it has sit there for about 2 years.(well one week he will one week he won't)I was wondering what kind of qaud frame would be good to start with.I can get a GS 550 street bike engine fairly cheap that runs would this be a good engine to start with???? anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.Oh yea we don't want an arm and a leg worht of money in this thing. My dad is a sheet metal worker so he can make the motor mounts and pipe.HE made a pipe for my rm80 dirt bike it ran awesome with that thing.

banshee frame, with that 550 engin. That would be cool. Banshee frames have to be pretty stong, seeing how there engin is so powerful, but that is not a fact im just talking out my ***.

There is only 1 problem with using a Quadracer frame, part of the frame goes over the engine and that doesn't leave alot of room for any thing bigger. I would recomend a R or Banshee.
