that 450r's tires, were terrible pixilated, come on dw, if your gonna try and pull stuff make it look presentable.

 

I really liked the chain drive to the front end of the all mighty 450r 4x4........

 

You know what last year April Fools joke with the 500 Twin Banshee might be true. In 2006 They have to stop making the Banshee, becuase they can't drop the emissions. So there is talk that for the last year banshee there will be a 350 Twin, and a 500 Twin, just to make a big buck on the last year. Just thought i would inform you guys on that. If there is a 500 Twin Banshee, that would be really sweet.

 

The cost of making a new quad for a 1 year run would be a very bad economic move for yamaha. It would be cool, but its possible to do it pretty easily with aftermarket parts.

 

ok #1 the banshee is right now inproduction until 2007 and the cost of the casts and raw materials to make such a thing for such a small amount of time wouldnt be worth it, yamaha is all about the money. i guess if they were only changing the bore and not the stroke and were able to keep the cylinders they use for the 350's it would only cost a little more to make, but i dont think thats possible. hey how do you have a 360cc blaster?

 

its a blaster frame with an old kawi 350 dirt bike engine thats been bored to a 360.

we(my dad and I) had to cut the 2 bars that ran from the middle of the front of the frame, to the middle of the bottom of the frame (ya those 2).

we had to cut them in half and make them run strait down and that gave us a few extra inches.

(ya I'm confusing my self trying to figure out how to explain it. I'll post some pictures when its done)

oh ya we had to make removable engine brachettes cause we couln't get the engine between the brachettes.

we stiil couldn't get the engine out with out taking the head off.

 

sounds cool man, im working on putting an 86 cr250 engine, thats the year that the cylinder was the same bolt pattern and the trx motor, with a duncan pc2000 cylinder from baldwin into a trx250r frame. much lighter and im sure it will be very fast. post some pics when your done
