Default Warrior Pipe Questions

1. How hard is it to put on a complete pipe kit? I want like as complete a step by step description as you all can get.
2. Can I get a pipe that is as quiet or quieter than the stock pipe, yet still help performance or maintain previous performance level?

Im a complete neophyte to the whole sport quad arena and I know this is an ok machine to start off with and it has some possiblity for more power with the right mods, at this time im not completely into making it faster but i would llike to get the exhaust back to as quiet as stock. See I bought my warrior used and the previous owner took the baffle off. But anyways as i said im totally new to this so any tips or ideas on ways that you have made your warriors run better are much appreciated. Thanks for any help.

What kind of riding do you do. I have a FMF MegaMax II on mine. It's got a nice grunt sound to it. I put the Quit core in it to see what it would sound like and it's pretty quit. at least I think it was. It has good Performance.

FMF makes a good pipe, and so does alba. I have 2 buddies and they both have warriors and these pipes is what they got.

1. For a Warrior you don't need a complete pipe kit, just a slipon. The Warrior's stock header is fine until you start getting into serious engine (internal) mods.

Step 1. Loosen the retaining clamp on the intermidiate pipe (just below the reverse lever)
Step 2. Remove the two bolts which hold the muffler in place underneath the right rear fender
Step 3. Remove the muffler
Step 4. Put the new slipon muffler into place and re-install the two bolts
Step 5. Tighten the retaining clamp

It's just that simple.

2. Aftermarket pipes as a rule will be louder than stock. The quite core insert makes a big difference. My Warrior at idle and just light cruzing is barely louder than a stock Warrior, but when you are hard on the throttle it is quite a bit louder.

Good luck to you!!
