Handlebars?
#1
What are the benefits of buying new handle bars? Do they help with the weight of the quad or riding style? I see lots of people with aftermarket handlebars in their signature lines, so I just wanted to know what are so good about them. Thanks

listen, i have a 94 banshee and really run the hell out of it - jumping/duning/shoe-horning it between two trees at 30 mph/etc. i bought some renthal bars and have racked up MANY hours with them. and you know what? for everyday riding, they really don't make $75 worth of difference. do they look cooler? definitely. will you completely freak out with the performance difference? nope.
i can think of worse things to spend your money on though....

Most stock machines come with steel bars. If you get aluminum, they flex more and take the bumps a little better, maybe helping arm-pump a little. Not everybody has the same length arms. Getting a set of bars that is comfortable to the rider may result in less fatigue.

A set of Renthals will definetly help with arm pump, it did on my ride anyway. You can get different bends to suit your preference. I have 400EX bend bars on my 300EX, my buddy has Banshee bend on his TRX250R. There are a lot of choices to pick from.
