all a rev limiter is doin is killing ur motor faster. i dont no how u had ur engine built up but it is probably done making most of its power by the time its hitting the limiter anyways. if ur hitting ur rev limiter in 5th wat u should do is gear it higher, the engine can obviously pull it and u wont be ruining ur engine[ plus youll get more top speed]

i wouldnt go with the white brothers. if you do you better carry along the stock cdi for those days of cold riding because with the white brothers you wont get the engine started. i've heard many people **** and moan about the aftermarket cdi boxes in cold weather. if your riding in warm weather, well then it will work fine. there are companies that you can send your stock cdi to get re done. just my thoughts anyway.

Big Gun Electronic Regulator
Big Gun Exhaust systems has a new electronic Regulator/Rectifier.
Big gun claims to have found ways to increase horsepower nine percent over stock. These rectifiers mount up to the frame and replace the stock units.
When the battery becomes fully charged, the Big Gun system switches over to allow 100 percent of the spark from the charging system to go directly to the plug to create more horsepower.
Available for the DS650,LTZ/KFX/DVX 400,Raptor 660,and TRX400EX.$128.95

I think the reason the people are pissing and moaning is because they never read the fine print. Those boxs will not work if your batterie is not FULLY charged. That is why it is dying on them in the cold. I see in the catalogs all the time in big leatters saying it will nto work with out a fully charged battery.

Yea I have seen that too does that go with all brands? That would suck on a z/kfx with no backup kickstart.

the reason isnt so much as the battery needing to be fully charged..but it changes the ignition curve making it harder to start in cold weather. and yes i know that the battery is supposed to be fully charged.
