tors is the throttle over ride system. It keeps a stuck throttle from ruining your top end. It malfunctions alot so this is why people say to remove them. You must either buy another carb or get a tors removal kit to do this. If you buy a twist throttle it should come with a new top for the carb which will eliminate the tors anyway. I love the twist throttle on my quad, it gives better throttle control and keeps your thumb from getting sore in colder weather (Mass. can get pretty cold during the winter). I ride dirt bikes 90% of the time so I am much more comfortable with the twist throttle.

remove the tors for sure and yes pre mix is alot better and just get a clamp on air filter (KN) and change the sprocket size dosent help in horsepower but makes a huge difference

port and polish job.

I dont know what stores you have near you but if you have a Tognotti's there, they have a port and polish kit that will hook up to your drill.

and it real cheap.

I dont know where else to find one but that 2 cents.

premix!!!!
I did it on my bike and found that 32:1 is a little rich. You have to mess around with different combinations to find out what is the best.
Good luck and enjoy.
