Default bore and stroker kits

What is the biggest bore and stroker kit you can get for the 300ex? Why is it that when you get these bigger kits they say that some arent reliable? What bore and stroker kit will give me the most power, but still keep it as reliable as it is now?

Sell it and get a 400EX. Then you have a factory built big bore 300EX with the same reliability.

I don't know what the biggest is, but I would suggest you call up FST or Powroll or other shops and talk to them. As far as losing reliability, the extra power will stress the rest of you engine and drivetrain that wasn't made for a bigger motor. You are also generating more heat. A lot of the reliability will depend on the knowledge of the engine builder and your mechanical knowledge and maintenance.

getting things for the 300ex are hard to find, but you can find things. When I do get motor work done im going to get an oil cooler. I found 1. Im also going to beef up the transmission.

it's hard to pay 3000 for a 300 when you can get a 400 for the same or less
