i under stand that they are dirt bikes but we whent to ama super cross this past weekend and at least 80% of all the dirt bikes racing were 4 strokes. and they were rippen the 2 strokes apart[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

oh and as far as weight goes a 250 2stroke weighs the same as the 450 4 stroke. my nephew has a 2002 yz 250 and he just got a crf450 and they way the same. and he says he would never ride a 2stroke again. he likes the low end torqh.

as for dirt bikes, everyone is going to 4 strokes...they are the top of the line, and have lots and lots of power.....I have a friend that has a honda 500....that sucker will flip over in about any gear you put it in......too scary for me, I like 4 wheels

Funny but when I saw a 4stoker beat a 2 stroke banshee ( my bad more than one banshee) all the 2 strokers could say was that their fuel mixture was off. go figure.
That killer 4 stroker was built by ANIIHILATOR DS 650 or so, could be a 7something. You never really can tell with those things. Fast as all heck, trying to keep it clean this is a family show.

Cube for cube, fuel for fuel, mod for mod, you will never beat the power of a two stroke. Why do you think a little Shee can keep up with a quad almost twice it's CC's?
And to the people that think I'm wrong: Why do you think racing bodies give all the 4 strokes advantages such as weight breaks and CC breaks? They can't keep up, so they have to give incentives to the 4 stroke people.
