4-stroke's suck!!

OK, well, everything sucks stock ( even a stock 250R, compared to the new rippers )... & thats the truth... but theres a place for everything in this world... I've got one place none of your 2 strokes can go... as far as I can, while hooked to a pull sled... LOL... the 2 strokes just don't cut it, when it comes to torque... but really even though when it comes to "rippin", most of the time a 2 stroke takes all comers, the old 2 stroke triple bikes were really cool, but they did go the way of the dino... just like your 250 R... right now the V Twin 4 stroke is king of the utility class... but I've even seen MANY 2 strokes get smoked in hare scramble races, by these big V Twin Prairies... I too like old guns, cars, bikes... but unfortuneatly computers & EFI is coming, & while it's cool to still rip with the old Iron, its either time to adapt, or go the way of the dyno... Sorry Dudes...

smell's like it ready to blow,.so much money spent to beat an old 250r,banshee, or LT500. how much money do you have to spend to make your 4-stroke as fast as a 2-stroke. tell the truth.
yeah i thought so, big buck's. you could send a kid to collage for that much!. my LT still smoke's all these new lazy man's quad's of the future. wow push button starter, reverse extra lean on the H/P. sound's fun for my wife & kid's.
Im only 13 and have a KFX400 and I love it to race around and do stuff but when i jumped on my friends fully modded 89 250R It was amazing. What a rush that was. I didnt even get and hight than 3rd gear and it felt like i was topped out in 5th on my KFX400. Hands down 2 strokes. I wish i could ride a 250R with A cr500 in it

Ah yes! Good old two stroke days. Mixin oil in the gas, smoke billowing out behind. Them was the good old days of motorcycles and boats. Never did it on four wheels but was a member of the "Riders of the Purple Haze".

2-Strokes will never die. Just because they might no longer be in production dosn't mean they will be going anywhere for a while yet. Look at the 250R, I think the last year they were made was in the late 80's?? Now here we are almost 20 years later and they are still spankin some serious a$$. I imagine by the time two strokes will totally dissapear we will all be too old to care.

Bansheesmoker your original statement cracked me up. Banshees in stock form cant hang with the new 450's, even with pipes a stock 450 will give a banshee an even race.I know because I've done it. As for 250r's in stock form they would look stupid trying to race a 450r. Now dont get me wrong I have owned many two strokes and loved them all but they are being sent away and the 4 strokes are takin over. If I put the amount of money into a 450 that you did into your 500 conversion quarantee I could give you one hell of a race.

carburated 4 strokes are a joke as well as two strokes.....buy an cbr rr sportbike, and race it against whatever modified quad or dirtbike you have. and dont tell me that its too heavy the take off road....these new sportbikes weigh the same or less than quads, and only slightly more than comparably sized dirtbikes. dual staged fuel injection, aluminum/magnesium/titanium engines, and huge throttle bodies and exhaust are the future. as far as i know, they never made a 2 stroke or carb'd 4 stroke that could even keep up with a stock 600cc sportbike made today. but....i do enjoy the nostalgic simplicity of all of our motors.....not too far removed from the motor on my craftsman lawnmower.
