Project 03 Raptor 660r performance help
#1
I have a Raptor 660r 2003 model that is getting ready to go into the shop for new fenders and full throttle assayable Thanks to the a$$ hole who chased me down shooting at me for misteakingly coming thru land that he just bought thank god im alive and got away but I still crashed coming around a sharp wet corner I will never ride again in the local trails because everyone is buying up the land. Anyways I have some money from suing the guy and will be getting the raptor fix. I thought now is a good time to really mod my raptor 660r and buy performance stuff. Right now I have a dmc Allen exshust and headers jet kit and k&n everything else is stock. I want to keep it a 660 for now so please recommend me parts that I have not thought of. I will be doing a lot trail riding but want a lot of mid and top end. Im a good hardcore rider but by no means a mechanic so im looking for mods that wont cost a lot to install. I have in mind hot cams stage 1 cam ..... Dyna FS Programmable Ignition System ..... What eles can I do? I want to stay away from long labor installations like the yamaha shop says stage 1 cam takes 1.5hrs but stage 2 with springs take 5-6hrs and at 60buck a hr ouch it`s going to suck so i dont want anything that takes real long to do and cost alot.

lol nope I will never ride or adventure off trial agin. Nope sure dont want anymore people called Wild Bill shooting at me. Specialey since my arm was in a cast for a few weeks. I still got up off the ground fast and pushed the quad to safety befor he went searching for me crazy crazy man! I know some of the hunters off the power lines are cocky and crazy.

Good thing you were on a Raptor when trying to get away from him...you could have been on a slower quad and you could be dead right now...be thankful you had 660 cc's of machine under your butt when you were getting away!! But as for the mods..your heading in the right direction with the cam..do you have proflow with your k&n??? If you don't then you could get pro flow kit and if your not running with open airbox then you could do that..
