JETTING ?

Default JETTING ?

I know this a atv forum but you guys seem to know your stuff so here is the ?. my kid has a 03 suzuki rm 65 and we are going to put a amsoil foam filter and a pro circuit tip should the stock jetting be ok. I am not going to get a header pipe for it until his birthday will i need to jet it againor at all. any info is greatly apriaciated thanks.

if u increase the air movment through the quad in anyway (air filter, pipe etc) then yes you will have to rejet, unless its only a little bit of air, but with a pipe its too much air for stock jetting so id say yes u will need to rejet it.

I was told that with just a tip that u dont have to rejet and the amsoil air filter should not move any more air then stock. or does a p/c tip move to much more air on the 2 strokes

Ill tell you what I tell everyone else. Check your plug and see if you NEED to rejet. If you dont know how to jet, find someone that does.
