whats the easiest way to pump 60+ hp out of a ds650? i may be getting one soon, so i want to know how to mod it to hit my HP mark. thanks. i have about 2900 to spend on mods, and maybe a little more after fri

 

the easiest way?

simple, get a nitrous system.




the other ways involve:
cams
compression
porting
carbs or fuel injection (my choice)
headers

and a strategically placed turbocharger

 

i know that. but im just wondering what mods respond the best when added?

Well, I'd tell you to go with the turbo.

It has the best responce when added to a motor.

Anyone could do it for under a grand I would say.

The hardest thing would be your idle and mid range air/fuel raitos.

but if you built an enclosure for your carb and pressurized the whole thing, you'd be golden.
The rest is fuel pressure and plumbing.

Well to pump over 60HP is to go to this site!!! Mr. Horsepower would have to be the best DS650 builder in the country right now. He takes alot of time on the dyno with every part he makes and makes sure it produces more HP then anybody elses. He is coming out with a new 730cc kit this summer but he is taking orders now. Get the 730kit, his HV46 carb, cams, cdi,end cap and ported intake, and u will be way over 70HP. It will rip when u do this to it. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]Lance

 

there is mr hp there is woods , tvi and pami all four can get you to 60, woods fads from there the others can take you up higher

 

what are you hitting with the TVI 720?
