yea if you have the motor allready. you might have to have a custum pipe made. and relocate motor mount tabs. that stuff is easy but time consuming. is the 250 a lot lighter?

I'm not sure about the weight. I would kill to have your cr500 quad. What do you think would the easiest engine to put in an 86 frame, and turn some major hp?

yeah the 500 motor will fit without to many mods there is a web site called mcdizzy that goes step by step the pipe hangs out of the frame pretty far but i do not recomend it due to the fact of the shorter swing arm you have a wheelie machine and you cant steer with the wheels off the ground just buy a zilla once you get used to the extra width you will never go back to the 250 trust me and i loved the lt250s...

I just wish I could sell mine and get what I feel is right for it. It is a crime that they sell for 1400 bucks!! And you got slow 4 strokes sellin for 4 and 5k. They are worth so much more, but what can you do, that is what the sell for. I have seen REALLY trick LT250 and LT500's go for less than 3k. It should be a crime!
