i doubt that the big gun exhausts are nearly as loud as the sparks pipes.

 

i ran a guy at sand mntn. on a yfz that he made a strait pipe (drag pipe no muffler ) for and smoked him. just cause yer loud doesnt mean yer fast.

 

i also heard a v with lte's ,they where loud

 

just because hes asking about what would be the loudest pipe for his 700, doesnt mean he only wants the pipe for its sound regardless of its performance

 

u probly smoked that guy with the drag pipes cuz he doesn't know how to make pipes properly. it's amazing how much science goes into that stuff. a straight, steel pipe will take away more power than it will add. in a simplified explanation: when the fuel/air combusts the combustion sends a shockwave through the exhaust to the silencer, it hits the silencer, and comes back towards the engine. this creates a suction effect. the suction pulls all of the gases from the combustion out of the chamber, allowing for a cleaner combustion with the incoming fuel/air. if the pipe doesn't cause this then it will not add power. the power comes from the cleaner burn.
