He knows that it is an ATV motor, on the polaris forum, Bubba is a good man.....and he works on polaris quads(he is a name that most people on the polaris side know, and who most people send their motor to, to get performance tuning and modding done).......so he knows about the 416.....he also has some other quads too, all of which are fast.

Brad, I know Bubba's on the Poo side. So am I. Was just mentioning that for others who may not be familiar with it.
Scrambler, who said rwhp? That has to take gearing, tire size, etc into consideration. Unless specifically stated, I assume people are talking at the crank cause that's the only way you can compare apples to apples. In different applications, the same motor can have vastly different rwhp. Hard to compare motors that way. Sure, it's handy for comparing changes made to a particular quad.
I'm still curious as to why an atv cylinder would be much different from a sled.

yes sir. Another reason why sled motors put out more hp, in stock and slightly modified versions over an equally stock or slightly modified atv motor of equal displacement is because sleds are engineered to run top end only. You find me a sled motor that doesnt have a ex. duation under 200 and a trans duration of 130 or less and ill be impressed.

Did you read my first post? I clearly stated that I don't know jack about Shees. Does that sound like someone who knows everything about everything? What crawled up your a** anyway?
Where the hell did you come up with nugget of wisdom? You ride sleds alot in Cali? I've been sleddin' for over 30 years and that's the most ridiculous statement I've heard.

Here are a few examples that i picked from the top of my head
take for instance a stock 670 ski doo...its 201* by 131*, polaris 800 VES 202* 133*, non Ves 800 Pol 200* 130*, Cat 900 205* 130*
Notice anything- all over 200* ED, and over 130* TD. I bet they run those high durations for the low end grunt.
