hi i saw on ebay, a blaster with a yz250 dirtbike engine on it. is that an easy swap without any cutting or welding. will the same exhaust on the blaster work on that motor. what other engine will fit on the blaster without any or little mods.

 

no lots of fabrication but well worth the money...it will run with a yfz on the track if you have money for the suspension it will take...
to do that..

 

A YZ swap in a Blaster would be a nice experiment.
New upper mounting tabs would need to be welded to the frame to fit the YZ motor.
The stock pipes would not work... You would either have to fabricate your own or special order a custom pipe to fit.

Thinking of this swap makes me excited to think of the possibilities of a 2007 Yamaha YFZ250

 

im in the middle of one with my buddy, and it is a 98 yz250 motor, a custom 5 inch round tube swingarm, yfz front shocks, raptor a-arms, 400ex rear shock, maier front 1 peice race plastic and raptor style banshee rear plastic, and as soon as its together it will go to cpi for a custom center mount silencer pipe. and and then it will get torn apart, powder coated and put back together and i will get some pics up.

 

you would have to mount a radiator and all of that stuff but i bet it would be way fasstt
