A wolverine and $500 what do you get?

yeah...the warn 424 is the first thing you should do to a wolverine...people say it makes a huge difference...your tires might mess that up a little though...does it have trouble pulling them?...the ids2 pipe is supposed to be pretty good..

Bayou,
Of course 25's on a wolverine cut the low end a little bit, but it still turns them quite well. With the all the power to the rear wheels. I am assuming it will move them well.

That engine mods up pretty well. Lots of aftermarket stuff available. Does it have that same ridiculous airbox as the Warrior and Banshee had (where the lid holds the filter in place....a disaster waiting to happen!), or did Yamaha fix it? If not, the first thing I would do is get a Pro-Flow adapter (http://www.prodesignracing.com/main.htm). Then a 424, and eventually a header and muffler.

424 is the first thing I did and would do it the same again. After that though, it's tough to tell depending on what kind of riding you do. A belly skid plate sure made me feel more confident riding, along with oxlite boot guards. If you don't push it real hard in wooded or rocky terrain and just want performance improvements, then a pipe, filter, and rejet will help a lot.

I am also wondering what mods are gonna help me in the low end and which mods are gonna help me in the top end.
Thanks,

A torque stuffer is about $30 and will give you better low end. A pipe with a disc setup is a great mod, as you can put less discs in it for more low end and more for more high end. Stronger clutch springs will also help your low end, especially from a dead stop. What are you looking for, more low end or high end?
