Default Compression release for 2-strokes

These seem to be getting popular on 4 strokes. I would be a lot harder to make one for a two stroke because of they are water cooled. Has any one seen one on a 2-stroke, or even know if this can be done to a stock head. Making a aftermarket head like a pro desighn cool head you could probley do it rite?

If you have a two plug hole head, just buy one and install it. My old 125 Yameee came with a two hole head so it took me about 10 min to install. Sounds cool coming down hills. Easy on brakes too.

Ok doc. sometimes I ask quastions that make me feel so stupid when I get a simple awnser. lol. ok, your saying to use a hole where rad fluid flows because there is two fittings and one is not needed for my bike., remove the fitting and install the release. sounds easy. how did you seal it in so it would work. those threads are very rare and I've allready tried to find a plug for it and can not match those threads. whare should I find one like yours. and I only want it to work for starting. not for any breaking reasions unless it does not effect hp, of course. any more info would be great but you got me off to a start. thak you Docterturbo, your a life saver.

Sometimes I'm so old school my answers sound dumb!!! Ha ha ha, hell, sometimes I am dumb. What I meant to say was in the "old days" two stroke bikes had two sparkplug hole heads from the factory. This way, if you fouled a plug, you could just pop the plug wire off the plug and put it on a new one in about 5 sec.
If you wanted to, you could put a compression release in that second sparkplug hole. On new quads like the shee or even new bikes I have know idea if they have two plug heads anymore. Maybe aftermarket? I just don't know, I lost touch with the new stuff after they got above $1,500 for a new bike!!!!!
If you can find a head, it will work good for braking. They have a cable that goes to the handle bars that you control with your hand.
Have to go to work!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm late !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those types of heads just dont exist anymore. They used to be popular back in the late 70's and 80's but you don't see them on any of the new modern 2 strokes like the banshee, blaster or even the 250R.
I ride with a guy who has a old MT250, I think it's a 78. It has the same design with the 2 holes, but it's old skool.

first I thought he was talking about the water inlet/outlet fittings. a cr5oo has 2 because it a 2 separate radeators. my quad has one oversized rad. not 2 spark plug holes. so I could use a water outlet hole (like one on a r) by removing a fitting, but I would have to seal it between the dome and outside. so it wont leak rad fluid out of the head or in the cilinder, or in the release.. Do you guys under stand where I'm comming from now? would this be possibale. It would be worth the trouble. Thanks Jimmy.

You would laugh at how many boots and pairs of shoes I have gone though. I try to bet peaple in glamis, and my friends $50 to who ever can start my bike. Everone bets but no one pays( not one mfr can come close).lol I'm too nice.Yea the angle of the kick starter makes it a lot harder than a bike to start. I have to pull start it till its warm or 1 out of 20 kicks, Can leave you with a sore ankel with one wrong kick.

im sure i could give it a good kick. At least people are willing to try and start yours...lol nobody will even try to start mine. Matter of fact i just bent my oem steel kick starter last weekend and the kick start shaft has a 1/4 bend in it. hehe...9/10 people cant even get the motor to wing over more then once. funny stuff

Lol what comp are you at? lol yea like 10 out of 10 peaple cant kick it all the way though witch is the only way it will even think about fireing. I love it when someone trys with a tennis shue and it puts a hole rite though it and almost pierce's there foot. Then they say " I could do it if I had a boot" but when I offer mine its always the wrong size. We should sit at the drags one day and make some $ for shIIs and giggles. I'll offer a $1,000 for the first women to start it. Hell I'll give her all day. Just to see the fustration I get when I'm stuck at the bottom of a bowl. my kick starter has not broke yet but it wouldnt supprise me
