I swap my mojave engine for a cr500 engine. I'm practicly done with it. the only thing that is missing to do is the kick start clearance from the frame, a air filter system, radiator hoses and that' all. I'll let you know how that thing is fast in 2 or 3 day, I wish.

i'm done now this thing very very compare to my other engine with the mojave engine i was doing about 60mph but with the cr500 i do it in 3 or 4 gear. This swap wasn't so difficult, if somebody want to do it, i can give some infoif you want to do it.

Sounds pretty cool! Did you have to beef up the frame or anything like that?

 

it cost 1000$CAN for the engine w/ header, coil, cdi box, 250r complete pipe. if you can't weld about 50$CAN for welding and if you don't habve bolts with lock nut about 50$CAN, and, 100$CAN for brackets if you don't have them. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow or after tomorrow. We only beef up one spot because the spacer that we made wasn't correctly made and broke the bracket on the frame so we weld it.
