what onw would do more a port and polish or a bore i woudl like ur statements thanks did i say i have a predator

 

Port work makes good power, as long as you have the other mods to make it work to its full potential. Boring actually does very little for power gains, well it depends on how far your talking I guess. If you go with a bigbore kit then it makes good power, but boring it out a couple thousands of a inch does almost nothing.

 

ok yea becuase i was thinking about doing a bore a little bit but would it make more sense to port it right nad is it cheap

 

does ne one know how much hot cams caust for a polaris predator 500

 

I dont know for sure but your probably looking around $300, and I dont think hot cams have a core charge.

 

If you really want to make a lot more power you need to do everything, port & polish, high compression piston, and bore over. Although port & polish alone makes the most horsepower

 

porting and polishing is great as long as you find somebody who knows what they're doing
if its ported wrong its a waist of time and money and maybe a new parts
but you will have to rejet for the extra air flow
