Default RAD VALVE FOR A LT250R QUADRACER

I HAVE A 87 250R QUADRACER AND I WANT TO PUT A RAD VALVE ON IT, I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND THAT I CANNOT DO IT, ONLY 88 AND UP. DID ANYONE DO THIS, WHO MAKES THE BEST VALVE? ANY INFO WILL HELP THANKS

I don't think boyeson makes one that fits the '87... Not many companies make aftermarket intake stuff for the '87s... not sure why other than there's strength in numbers...

For the '87, put some fresh OEM reeds on the stock cage, and you'll have a really good setup performance wise... spend your $$ elsewhere for performance gains. (Carb, pipe, etc.)

YEA I HAVE A FMF PIPE ON IT, THE NEXT THING IS A CARB. WHAT CARB AND MM DO YOU PERFER. THANKS

Can't go wrong with the PWK series... the new TMX from mikuni looks good too, but I haven't ran one.
Depends on how heavily your ported or ??? on the size. I run a 38mm on my 250 and it works well.
