First off you do NOT no any of my friends
Your correct, I don't know your buddy; I don't have to. If the guy really did blow 5 motors in a row he is either misinformed on the proper use of nitrous oxide or he fits the true definition of insanity. Insanity: "Making the same mistake over and over, and expecting a different result each time." Sound familiar?

I'm sorry if you took my remark as "smart ***", that's not what I intended. On the contrary; I like people like your buddy, I'm convinced it's people like him that keeps the economy going.

As far as offering advice, you said "you could care less" so I won't offer any to you.

One more thing. I don't think you should criticize someones spelling if you "no" what I mean.

As far as your question about alcohol Sandunr0503. I agree with cave so I will leave it at that. It does make lots of torque in hot weather though.

And ya know Doc, "misinformed" is someone who comments on a situation that they do not have all the facts to, SOUND FAMILAR???? My buddy did not experience the same problem each time, nor did I ever say it happen to him each time in a row... You said that... Learn to read Doc...... He experienced solenoid problem's one time...... He was not running an override on this bike and he missed a gear once over revving the engine and separating his trued and welded crank..... He was getting ready for a pass one time and purged the system and blew the reed's and carbs out of the intake boots... You see I never said he was having the same probem over....You came into this thread and made a pompous juvenile comment.... You offer no real analysis of the situation.... No amount of opinion or innuendo's nor any string of unrelated precepts can change the fact that you have not contributed any real information to this thread.......

My quest for speed cost me seriuos bux. I now ride my semi stock Banshee on 91 octain and actually run all day. When my other Banshee was on Race gas I did the same with alittle more tuning involved from day to night. With Alky it was FAST and FUn till I got the More speed deal. Then all the week links started to break. When my Crank gernaded in the case I finally knew there is such a thing as too much power. Lucky I was Here In AZ and out at a local ride spot draggin than at the dunes. I now "know" My driving style was at fault. I plan on rebuilding the Alky someday but for now I'll just put around on my 01.

This is a cool site till someone gets hissy. I've done my share for the economy. I crindge when I break out the old receipts. I got somewhere around 40 k in a box. Thats on a 94 Banshee from 94 to 01. Scarry.

Take from this stuff and learn something. If some one comes on and says there buddies best friends this or that does this or that then that really doesnt qualify for an argument. Gees. If you dont start the thread dont screw it up cause you take something the wrong way. This guy The doc seams to be trying to help the original thread starter.

Unless your one who can take it easy on you quad, stick with race fuel. Alky is addictive

Enforcer be cool on this site. Learn from us that have spent thousands learning what works. Most racers/draggers wont tell you crap! we give it to you for free. trying to help a fellow rider out. If your buddy really blew five motors up maybe he should change engine builders. Ive blown one up and learned from it. Not doubting he knows how to race just maybe his judgement on the rebuilds. Been there done that but not 5 times. The guy who built mine up told me straight up after this something is bound to break bad but I didnt listen. Wish I had.

Cave, I don't know who pulled your chain. However it seems you found the need to include me in your post... So your post constrains me to the disagreeable and almost painful task of giving you a significant piece of information that you may be unwilling to accept..... I'M NOT THE ONE WITH THE QUESTION'S!!!!! OK...... This is a nice site, however it's not the best site for drag info.... (planetsand) is full of information about drag racing... That is a good place to start if your interested in learning about it off a forum.... I have an engine builder.... The top end on my Cheetah was set up by Lynn Chauvie from L.C. Performance.... He know's more about drag racing, alcohol, and engine building than any of the wanabee's in this thread....

No one pulled anything nor would they if they knew me. True this is prolly not the right site for drags. But that would of been a better responce to his qustion. I like Alky but he never got back on what he wanted to do drag or just ride fast.
I wasnt ragin you. Most people who come to this site read the mag too. Those people who do have qustions just want answers. If your buddy blew 5 motors I would love to be his motor builder. The guy who built my top end is retired now. To our area he was the best and moreso was honest. He'd say how much you want to spend and how reliable do you want it?
Please dont take my post wrong. I just want us all to get along. My anger managment classes are working
