How you like that Cheeta? If possible Post some pics. Years ago I towed this guy from way back in the dunes back to his group. It was Harry from Trinity. He dynoed my 94 when it was on trick fuel wit 19cc domes. I got like 75 hp. I thought I had way more. I left his group all bumbed out. I fell to earth then spent all kinds of money trying covince myself I jetted wrong for the weather . LOL.

The bike's not all ready yet.... I'm waiting on my 2-5 override tranny.... I will be posting pic's soon... And I will be running the bike at Big river sand drags in MO. I also plan on posting some time slips..... The engine is a 10 mill stroker and a 74.5 mm bore, so it's a little bigger than a 535... I plan on taking it to the dyno this spring....On alky I should get about 115 to 130 hp out of it...... I'm running this motor in a stock frame with a +12 swingarm.... I lower the bike 4 inches.. And I'm running Marvin Shaws.... I've trimmed about 15 to 20 lbs off the bike... And I will be running 16-40 gearing..... I'm going to run 300ft. and 660ft. sand drags...... I might need a bar, I don't no yet.......

Wrong!!!!!!!!!! A motor set up on alcohol will run much cooler than a motor set up on gas and nitrous..... This is one of the reasons why alcohol dosen't work that well below 55 degrees....

methanol will run cooler then a gas motor.

Methanol is a good fuel for racing. I wouldnt recommend it for trail or dune riding, but straight line is fine. The fuel is considerably cheaper then race gas and is a pretty stable fuel. It mixes well with oil and jetting is fairly easy. It is although sensitive to weather changes so you must keep on top of your jetting. Ive ran alcohol for 3 years in 3 bikes and i have never lost a cylinder yet.

And its not his friends fault he lost 5 motors, he just needs to learn how to ride a little better before jumping on a nitrous bike.

The "Bubba Bike" ran at Glamis for days on Alcohol without problems. Then it was making so much power it came apart on top of lower cases, wasn't supported right for making more than 60hp.

After the fix, its been riden a Wyanoka OK sand dunes, draging, riding, trail riding.
Works fine, if you can keep it on the trail, makes a lot of power.
Everyone likes to ride for a hour or so and hit camp, so fuel is never a problem.

At Glamis even on other quads, after 20 miles people think they need fuel! We can ride 48miles on 400 Polaris 2-stroke, 65miles on 650-700 Prairies. About 24miles on 250R. Bubba Bike is 20 to 30 miles, depends on how much throttle you give it.

I ran Alcohol last year with no probems at all.......
piont is drag racing is hard on any engine and how you run it determines how often you must rebuild the motor. high engine speed= wear and heat.
